As founder of Ignite Advisory Group, Eyal Danon is responsible for the company’s unique and effective approach to Customer Advisory Councils, with hands-on experience in developing and managing highly influential and strategic Customer Advisory Boards for many leading organizations, including Dell, HP Enterprise, Intel, Amazon Web Services, Xerox, Adobe, Aetna, Symantec, Verizon and Reuters.
A former Chief Marketing Officer for privately held and publicly traded software companies, Eyal has worked with innovative companies that experienced dramatic growth amid changing business environments. During his tenure with NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) he helped generating an incremental $1.3B of shareholder value in 5 years. A recognized expert on customer advocacy and customer experience, Eyal has appeared on CNN Headline News, NBC, ABC, Forbes, Fortune, BBC News, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, San Francisco Chronicle and Business Week. Earlier in his career, Eyal worked as a leadership and management expert for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Europe, where he honed his group facilitation skills in a fast-paced and dynamic global environment.
Eyal received a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, with high honors, from Florida International University in Miami, Florida, as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Boston University, and is a graduate of Columbia University’s Business School Executive Leadership Program.
Gavin R. Nathan, Senior Consultant & Partner
Gavin Nathan has extensive experience designing and managing Customer Advisory Boards (CABs) and facilitates over 20 advisory board meetings annually across different industries. In his current role, Gavin designed Ignite’s 4-stage methodology for creating, managing and measuring the performance of CABs, and has presented on this topic to groups such as the Product Development Managers Association (PDMA) and MarketingProfs. In addition, Gavin created the leading professional association for CAB managers (www.CustomerAdvisoryBoard.org) and chairs the annual conference.
Prior to Ignite, Gavin had a 15-year career in software sales and marketing, involving compliance, cloud computing and CRM technologies. Originally from the UK, Gavin has experience living and working in London, Europe and the Middle East, bringing a unique understanding of cultural differences in engaging executives. He now resides in Boston, Mass.
Tatiana Falconi, VP Marketing Operations
Tatiana Falconi is a strategic marketing professional with more than 12 years of customer advocacy and marketing experience. Prior to Ignite Advisory Group, Tatiana served as Director of Marketing for Deltathree, a leading VoIP service provider (NASDAQ: DDDC). Tatiana managed all aspects of customer marketing, including market research and voice of the customer initiatives. Prior to Deltathree, Tatiana served as a Marketing Research Manager for the Institutional Investor Research Group in New York, overseeing the Equity Research market and high-value customer programs.
Tatiana has worked on customer advisory programs for multiple companies, from Fortune 500 to high-growth professional services firms. Tatiana holds a B.S. degree in modern languages (cum laude) from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Rob Jensen, VP Marketing
Rob Jensen has spent over 20 years in marketing, communications and business development leadership positions with leading enterprise business-to-business (B2B) software and technology companies. Throughout his career, Rob has successfully overseen groups that generated global awareness, increased lead generation and enabled sales teams for EMC/Captiva, Kofax, Anacomp, TRW, HNC Software and AudaExplore.
In addition, Rob has specialized in initiating, managing and facilitating customer and partner advisory board programs for several of these companies in the U.S. and abroad. The most successful of these programs was at EMC/Captiva, whose board lasted 5 years and 9 in-person meetings. This successful council led to numerous product enhancements and customer service improvements, and expanded business opportunities with the executive council members.
Rob holds an MBA with an emphasis in marketing from San Diego State University, and a BA in management economics from the University of California, San Diego.
Judy Davis, VP Client Engagement
Judy Davis is a strategic marketing professional whose expertise enables companies to maximize customer advisory boards and leverage industry analyst programs to expand the ways in which customers engage, innovate and grow with their businesses.
In her most recent role at Convergys Corporation, a leading customer management outsourcing provider, Judy led high profile customer and market facing programs. She successfully implemented the company’s inaugural customer advisory board program from its inception in 2009. Additionally, the strategic industry analyst programs she led gained prominent industry and customer recognition. She also developed thought leadership marketing programs, centered on customer experience and customer engagement.
She has held a variety of sales and marketing leadership roles at information technology, telecommunications and healthcare firms including Convergys, Iridium, American Medical Laboratories, Venture America, MCI Telecommunications, and Planning Research Corporation.
Judy holds an MA from The George Washington University and a BA from Winthrop College. She currently serves on the Winthrop Fund and the Pinehurst Civic Group boards.
Nancy Trachtenbarg, VP Client Engagement
Nancy Trachtenbarg is a strategic marketing professional with over 15 years of customer advocacy and marketing experience. Prior to Ignite Advisory Group, she served as Senior Manager of Customer Advisory Boards for AT&T. In that role, Nancy was responsible for developing, launching and managing Customer Advisory Board Programs for strategic/C-Level executives from Fortune 1000 companies. She possess significant experience and expertise in building world-class global, cross-industry, and vertical Customer Advisory Boards.
Over the course of her career, she has led high-profile customer-facing programs and specialized in voice of the customer and integrated marketing programs. Prior to leading Customer Advisory Boards, Nancy was a Senior Product Manager with responsibility for managing entire product lifecycle phases for a wide array of software technology solutions.
She holds an Executive MBA from Rutgers University and a BA from the University of Maryland. Nancy currently resides in Wayne, PA.
Andrew Birnbaum, VP Business Improvement
Andy Birnbaum has spent 17 years developing marketing teams and programs specializing in shared future relationships and business development. As a best practices expert in customer relationship management and communications, Andy has helped developed many integrated customer engagement programs in all major verticals. During his career in the IT field working for companies like CISCO, NACR and NICE Systems, Andy was focused on business development, and specifically in developing User Groups, Advisory Councils and Executive Forums. After working with the Ignite Advisory Group team on a Customer Advisory Board engagement in 2004 with NICE Systems, Andy joined Ignite Advisory Group.
Working with a variety of leading Fortune 500 and growth companies for Ignite Advisory Group, Andy helps create best practices and strategies in communication and building relationships that matter. The expertise that Andy shares creates a dialogue between companies and senior decision makers, opening up new sales opportunities, company direction and relationships via world-class Customer Advisory Boards and Executive Advisory Networks.
Ali Kramer, VP Client Engagement
Ali Kramer is a strategic marketing professional with over 15 years of marketing, communications and advisory experience. Prior to Ignite Advisory Group, Ali served as Senior Director of Strategic Marketing for Equifax (NYSE: EFX) in Atlanta, GA. In that role, Ali was responsible for developing and managing the Customer Advisory Board Program for strategic/C-Level executives from major customers. From these programs, Equifax was able to better serve and penetrate key vertical markets. Ali grew the program from a pilot to an enterprise-wide (U.S and International) platform.
Prior to that, Ms. Kramer served as a senior marketing executive in the cable, broadband and wireless industries where she had various roles in acquisition, brand and marketing communications for Time Warner Cable’s (NYSE:TWC)/Road Runner High Speed Broadband service and EarthLink (NASDAQ: ELNK).
Ms. Kramer began her career in Marketing at Turner Broadcasting. She has a BS in Communications Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University and currently resides in New Hope, PA.
Monique de Maio, Strategic Advisor
A 20-year technology and marketing veteran, Monique de Maio managed new product and service introductions/launches, indirect channel, partners and strategic positioning, messaging and branding processes for clients such as Avaya, 3Com, Expand Networks, IBM, IPC, Intel, Motorola/Symbol Technologies, SES-Americom and many others.
Monique was the publisher of BRANDWEEK Magazine–responsible for positioning, profitability, and business development. She also worked in client marketing at Salomon Brothers and at IBM. Monique is a graduate of Fordham University with an MBA in Marketing and earned a BBA in International Management from Pace University. Born in Paris, France, Monique is fluent in French and Spanish.
Kevin Levi, VP Client Engagement
Kevin Levi is a strategic marketing professional with over 17 years of customer advocacy and marketing experience. Prior to Ignite Advisory Group, Kevin served as Senior Manager of Strategic Customer Initiatives for a $1.2B drug company named Covance Inc. in New Jersey.
Prior to that he worked for three large marketing agencies in New York City and Los Angeles, serving a number of clients including IBM Global Services, NEC Systems, Sony, d-CON and many others. His most recent position was Director of Strategic Accounts, with Manning Selvage & Lee in Los Angeles.
Over the course of his career Kevin has specialized in the area of customer centricity and brand positioning, helping businesses differentiate themselves from their competition by focusing on connecting with executives audiences. He has implemented Customer Advisory Councils for 30 companies over the last several years, spanning all business sizes and industries.
