Meet Eyal Danon, President, Ignite Advisory Group
Hi, I’m Eyal Danon, the founder of Ignite Advisory Group. Back in 2007, I was the Chief Marketing Officer of a large tech company. And I created the customer advisory board for that company. It was successful, but it wasn’t as successful as I thought it could be. I looked around, I couldn’t find any resource. I couldn’t find a consulting company that could help me make this advisory board better. Hence the creation of Ignite Advisory Group. All these years later, we’re fortunate to work with hundreds of leading companies, including 30% of the Fortune 500.
Many of the best practices in the advisory board industry are coming from Ignite, such as the 80 / 20 rule, meaning that your clients, the members need to speak for 80% of the time and your executives for only the 20% of the time. The 2 to 1 attendance ratio, the difference between a session leader and a presenter and many other best practices. I’m very proud of our process and methodology to design, run, manage, and optimize an advisory board. It’s being tested in the field hundreds of times. And we keep on improving it with every new engagement.
